OUR CLUB DONATIONS TO THE COMMUNITY
Again this season, Children in Crisis will benefit from our sales of FundRays coupon books. The books with discounts for restaurants and stores in Walton and Okaloosa counties will be available at WCS Registrations and General Meetings. The books cost $20 and pay for themselves by using as few as one coupon! You and Children in Crisis will benefit!
The Walton County Snowbirds also supports South Walton High School graduating seniors through the Vivik Likhite Scholarship Fund. Last season two $1,000 scholarships were award. This year we were able to increase the scholarships to $1500 each based on the generous donations from our 50/50 raffle held at each of our Snowbird Gatherings.

Two scholarships, each $1,500, were presented to Hailey O’Donnell and Nolan McCool, graduating seniors from South Walton High School. The students were present and spoke briefly to express their gratitude.

The money was generated by the sale of 50/50 tickets before each Gathering, coordinated by Gladys & Larry Hindson.

The Club awarded Children in Crisis a check for $3,325.00 which was approximately $500 more than last year.

The organization was represented by Megan Serafin and Kayla McClain. This donation was financed by the sale of coupon books, coordinated by Peg and Bob Breetz.
